Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal
There were twenty-one designated Asiatic-Pacific Theater
campaigns during World War II. Individuals are entitled to wear one bronze star
for each campaign they participated in. A bronze arrowhead is worn on the ribbon to indicate
participation in an amphibious assault landing within the Asiatic-Pacific
Theater.
The 12th Cavalry
Regiment participated in four Asiatic-Pacific campaigns.
